Monk McQueens is located on the south side of the False Creek Waterfront. We are 2 blocks west of the Cambie Street Bridge, at the end of Moberly Road in the Stamps Landing cul-de-sac.
Moberly Road is accessible off West 6th Avenue between Ash Street & Laurel Street. A traffic light and a left turn lane are present and the street is clearly marked.
Valet parking is complementary for our lunch visitors until
4pm. Valet service for dinner is $8.00. You are welcome to
leave your car overnight with us if necessary. Please don’t
drink and drive.
Valet Parking during Olympic Games: $8.00 until 4pm; $10 after 4pm.

Downtown via the Granville St. Bridge
Find Howe and proceed over the Granville St. Bridge. Move into the center lane and exit the bridge on the right, labeled W 4th Ave Eastbound. Count 4 traffic lights. At the fifth light, take a left onto Moberly Road. Follow Moberly straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
Downtown via the Burrard St. Bridge
Proceed south over the Burrard St. Bridge. Keep left and follow until 4th Ave. Turn left onto 4th Ave, heading east. Move into the left lane and continue on 4th Ave for 5 traffic lights. Using the left turn lane follow Moberly road straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
From the University of British Columbia
Proceed east along W 4th Ave. Look for Burrard St. and drive straight through the lights. Continue on 4th Ave for 5 traffic lights. Using the left turn lane, follow Moberly Road straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
Driving from Highway #1
Use the 1st Ave exit heading west. Follow to Science World and move into the left lane. Turn left onto Quebec St, heading south. Move into the right lane and turn right on E2nd Ave (First Lights). Follow E2nd Ave under the Cambie St. Bridge. Count 2 more lights until Moberly Road and turn right. Follow Moberly road straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
Driving from Highway # 99
Follow HWY # 99. The Hwy will automatically become Oak Street. Follow Oak St. as far as it goes. It will go down a small but steep hill near the end. Turn right onto W 6th Ave. Move into the left lane. Turn left on Moberly Road, and follow straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
Driving from the Airport
Follow the signs toward Vancouver. Once on the Authur Lang Bridge, move into the left lane. Exit the bridge onto Marine Drive, travel through one traffic light and use the Left Turn onto Oak Street. Follow Oak St. as far as it goes. It will go down a small but steep hill near the end. Turn right onto W 6th Ave. Move into the left lane. Turn left on Moberly Road, and follow straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
NOTE: You can also use the Canada Line if you do not have a vehicle.
Driving from the North Shore
Find the Lions Gate Bridge and proceed through Stanley Park to Downtown. The road will become Georgia St. Move into the right lane and follow Georgia St. until Thurlow St. Count 3 traffic lights and turn left onto Nelson St. Follow Nelson St. and proceed over the Cambie St. Bridge. Move into the right lane and exit the bridge on the first exit labeled W 6th Ave. Turn left at the lights headed west. Count 2 traffic lights. The second is Moberly Road. Turn right on Moberly and follow straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
Arriving by Boat
Monk McQueens does NOT have public moorage. Guests who wish to arrive by boat may drop anchor and paddle in. A small dock is located off the restaurant but is for the private use of the Aqua Bus and the False Creek Ferries. Using the dock to drop off and moor elsewhere is usually over looked as long at you don’t stay at the dock. Monk McQueens will not and cannot accept responsibility for any actions with respect to the boat dock. The closest public moorage is in Granville Island or at the Plaza of Nations

Walking from Downtown
Starting from Smithe St, proceed over the Cambie St. Bridge on the east side. Part way over the bridge is a staircase to the seawall walk way. Follow the seawall west to Monks.
Sky Train / Canada Line NEW!
The New Canada Line is complete and the closest stop is at W 2nd and Cambie Street. It is about a 10 minute walk to Monks, under the bridge and along SpyGlass Place to
the water and then left to MonksUsing the Bus
The #50 False Creek will bring you to Moberly Road. Monks is a 5 minute walk along Moberly north towards the water. The NEW 84 VCC/UBC line also meets the stop on Moberly!
From Granville Island
Monk McQueens is NOT on Granville Island. We are east of the island. Guests can take a 30 minute walk around the winding seawall or exit the island and follow the signs to W 6th Ave, heading east. At the third traffic light use the left turn lane onto Moberly Road. Follow Moberly straight through a 3-way stop, and curve left. We are at the end of the road in a small cul-de-sac.
