Wine
The wines for dinner should also be selected in advance. This will help to plan a budget and ensure that we have the product available. A complete wine list can be found in the menus section of our site.
Tables & Floor Plans
Most tables are large enough to comfortably seat up
to sixteen. Groups larger than sixteen may need to
be separated onto two tables. Our tables are rectangular.
Groups buying out the entire dining room may require
special floor plans to accommodate a dance floor,
a guest speaker and/or a head table.

Parking & Valet Service
Parking is a premium in False Creek. Lucky guests may find 2 hour free parking on the street close to Monks. Public pay parking is available in two pay lots off Moberly Road on the south side of the street. These pay lots are approximately a five minute walk from the restaurant. Valet service is offered at the main doors for only $8 per car. Guests who choose to take advantage of this service can be billed directly or can have the service added to the main host bill. As a service, the price is subject to GST and gratuity.
Confirmation & Guaranteed Numbers
Group booking over 50 persons require a deposit to guarantee the space. All groups will need to guarantee their numbers 48 hours in advance. All large group inquires need to be confirmed. Tentative holds will not be accepted longer than 48 hours without a deposit.
Exclusive Bookings & Minimum Spends
Bookings requiring exclusive use of one or both of our dining rooms will be subject to a minimum spend. A change of date or an increase in numbers may incur additional costs. The quote given will include a minimum expenditure that will compensate the restaurant for loss of revenue.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required upon booking, payable by credit card or certified cheque. Deposits for regular group dinners are based upon the number of people and the selected group menu. “Exclusive Use” bookings require a deposit of 50% of the quoted minimum spend, 30 days prior to the date of the event.
Payments
Unless credit arrangements have been established prior to the reservation date, settlement of the balance of the account will be at the conclusion of the meal. We accept all major credit cards and company cheques.
Cancellation & Non-Arrival
Cancellations within 7 days will be charged 50% of the total guaranteed amount. Cancellations within 72 hours will be charged 100% of the total guaranteed amount.
