Known in the neighborhood simply as Monks, our award winning restaurant is set at the foot of the Cambie St. Bridge and looks out across the water at Yaletown and the coastal mountains. Monks Oyster Bar Monks Oyster Bar & Patio downstairs is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our extensive menu features our own “Whet Plates”, designed to begin your dining experience as a small starter, or to build a “Whet Platter” to share with others. The Oyster Bar will accept reservations for any party of 8 guests or more. Our patio is weather dependent. Monks is wheelchair & family friendly! Kids menus, highchairs, booster-seats and change-tables are available. McQueens Upstairs The perfect setting for a quiet romantic evening, McQueens Upstairs is an upscale, more formal dining experience. Open in the evening and for special events, McQueens Upstairs offers a contemporary menu with a variety of selections from the Pacific Northwest including seafood, poultry, pasta and choice cuts of beef. McQueen’s Upstairs is still one of the last restaurants with dinner and dancing. Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7 PM, McQueen’s hosts live local jazz artists performing familiar favorites. Step up to McQueens outdoor balcony, listen to the music, enjoy the wine, admire the view and be delighted by detailed service. Reservations of any size are recommended. McQueens Upstairs is also the perfect place for weddings, company Christmas parties and large group bookings. McQueens can be a self contained function room complete with an exclusive kitchen, washrooms, bar, dance floor and balcony. McQueens offers group menus to fit most budgets and sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 persons. Buffet, plated service and standup cocktail menus are
